Strange/Bizzare/Silly mistakes you've made in a game.

While I was trying to get the Ring of Perfection, I eventually managed to get both the sun and Moon gems, then proceeded to spend weeks looking for the chamber where you're supposed to put them, even though I had already found the paper with the co-ordinates for the Chamber, for some reason, I got it into my head that the paper was pointing to where you got the two gems. In my defence, I was only about ten at the time.

Snatcher, Act 3:

Spent ages trying to get past the green Insectors, got to where Jamie is, hesitated for a second because she wasn't attacking, and then decided that after I'd spent so long trying to get past thoses Insectors, I wasn't going to give her a chance to attack.

I wasn't too happy.

Ace Attorney: Justice for All, Case 3.:

Said the bust was under the Prosecution's desk, since Franziska had searched the room before Phoenix got there. Didn't actually think about the fact that Franziska probably couldn't have carried the bust into the courtroom.

The first time I played Shenmue i kept missing the 3rd day working at the harbour cutscene (when Tony and Smith come hassling you) because i used an alternate route. It worked ok because I was still making a lot of money, but i was getting annoyed with repeating the same day over and over, until i had to check a faq to see what i was wrong (obviously after each day was through i'd run the harbour and dobuita up and down for something I had missed hehe)
In Shenmue 2 i also kept pressing A when Zhangyu held the blade against my throat

Fell off the edge of the world in Doshin the Giant which triggered an immediate game over haha

Yeah, I did that about three times in a row until I thought to just leave it alone. I still don't believe Ryo when he says that he was calm as there was no malice in the move (or whatever it was)... it always looked pretty threatening to me.

Call Of Duty 4 - Final round in Search and Destroy. One enemy left on the opposing team and only me in my team. I stayed near the planted bomb so the other guy couldn't get to it. I saw him run past me and go to defuse. I follow him and go forward to stab. And end up stabbing the bomb site. Before I could react, the guy obviously saw and heard me and turned around to stab me back and defuse to win the match.

NCAA Football '09

I called a QB sneak on 1st and goal from inches away trailing by 6 instead of a pass, got stuffed and ran out of time before I could run another play. Straight from the Andy Reid school of coaching, that one.

FFIX first time I played at one point my party is split but I got to choose who I take to this one area.
Well I took my strongest characters and left the weakest behind.
