Perseid meteor shower this week!

For those who are interested in this kind of thing might want to keep an eye on the sky this week as the Perseid meteor shower is expected to peak on august 12! Perseids is a meteor shower that happens every year in august. It's actually already started and can be seen everyday this week although the big show will be on friday.

I love looking at the Perseid shower. We're really lucky it's in the Summer. I try to do so every year, though it gets hard since I live in the city and can't take a trip out to the country during the week.

I like looking at the one in October too, but it's usually too cold here by then to stay outside long enough to get a good look at it.

Yeah perseids are great to watch because it's still fairly warm out and also because it is one of the strongest meteor showers.
It can be pretty spectacular. Are you gonna watch it this year? I watched some last night actually and got a few good ones. Tonight I'm gonna watch the show in a comfy chair. One might as well since it is "on".
