Right near the end of Killer 7 now. In the elementary school.
This game is off its fucking rocker. As psychological as something like Silent Hill 2, but much harder to analyze. I'm sure it all makes sense when broken into parts and carefully analyzed, but just taken at face value it's fucking bananas.

^ it's the next game I buy ..just can't for a couple weeks as I just paid rent/bills and grocery
And even though you were not totally taken with NMH how far did you get? The game does open up around the 5th.

Yeah, I only really passed the second target. Totally willing to give it another try whenever I get the chance though. I'm sure I just didn't initially get into it much because I was distracted by other games at the time.
Kind of wish it wasn't a Wii game, though. Doesn't seem necessary. All the moves could easily be pulled off by simple button presses on a PS controller. The motion control is totally unneeded (still not into that whole gimmick; I even try to avoid motion control in my PS3 games).
Finished Killer 7, by the way. Officially the weirdest fucking game ever made. Starts a little slow, but hits its real personality by the third chapter. And its ending is nothing but a tall glass of WTF.
I can see why it's had its share of harsh reviews. But those reviews are based entirely on taste, not technical merits. If you hate WTF moments, you'll hate the game. If you love WTF moments, you'll love it.

Heart of Darkness (PSX). Pure greatness. Those frenchmen really knew how to make games.
Also some others (SNK Arcade Classics vol.1 (particularly Baseball Stars 2 haha) and Fire Pro Wrestling Returns) but that's the main one right now.

Decided to take a break from Heart of Darkness as it was becoming incredibly frustrating and I was getting too irritated and not enjoying it anymore. So I'm now playing Skullmonkeys, which is actually a more or less similar game, but more linear. Great atmosphere tho.
Edit: Just started Gadget and played until the end of disc 1 (of 4), as it's only supposed to take about 2 hours to beat. But what 2 hours they promise to be! This game has completely overwhelmed me! Like a mix of HalfLife2, The Last Express and Shenmue. I'm liking it THAT much.
Edit#2: Playing Ico and ocasionally Yars' Revenge (Atari2600) and Thunder Castle (Intellivision) to unwind.
Edit#3: Done with the above. Started Raw Danger.
