Yeah I saw and best part it's on all systems.
I am buying even though I made jokes in the past about a Shenmue Kart.
Ryo finally left the cave and partied with sega ...now lets get him fresh at fighting in the next VF then back to his quest in Shenmue III

I'm sure this doesn't mean anything regarding the future of Shenmue. Some guys in the boardroom probably said, 'hey, lets make Ryo a playable character to make the fanboys happy'. Doesn't cost much to do and that's just the way SEGA likes to do business these days. It is intersting to see them make Ryo's movements more fluid with improved gaming hardware while still keeping his signature look. Shows that Shenmue III can be made while still keeping the same look and feel to it.

This is my educated guess, imagine all the fan mail that sega has received regarding shenmue recently? All the Shenmue campaigns and what not? I am almost certain this is a response to that, a experiment if you will, to see how loyal we really are! We should all probably buy multiple copies of this game (one on every system)... atleast the rich and hardcore should! I MAY buy it personally, we'll see how things go

I hope you get to choose whether you use the motorcycle or the forklift, and the forklift isn't just a powerup you get in the middle of the race or something.
