I'm seen as a child there and I'm 18.
I don't know what the average would be actually. Maybe Ryudo can go through all the members and calculate a bit.darkly wrote:I dunno, maybe I'm not to old? What would you say is the average age of those posting there these days?ys wrote:I haven't seen him around there but I might have missed posts of course. Why "too old"?darkly wrote:So I see shenmue dojo has changed alot lately. Anybody seen ChaiOgawa aka Dan C around there? I'm too old for that place but there are some people that would be fun to have a chat with again.
I remember you ys. You've been around for a long time
Yeah, definitely. It feels like I've lived several distinctively different lives since then. Even since I stopped going to the forums regularly in 2005/2006, it feels like so much has changed. I think that's kind of what Juan was talking about back earlier in this topic. People might drop in and out of the dojo, but those relationships forged back then in our late teens/early adult lives were something irreplaceable. However much time goes by, people can just drop in and pick up like no time has passed.Ryudo wrote:Even though it was just 9 years ago.
18 seems like a lifetime ago.

Which reminds me, someone gave me the link to the archived old shenmue forum long ago. Even though you can't post it was lots of fun to read. Does anyone still have it? I lost the URL.
