EARTHQUAKE WEATHERRRRRR damn it's hot.

A 4.4 quake at 4:04AM? This outta spook the Asians. Superstitions aside, I hope this wasn't a precursor to a worse one.....aaaaand I just jinxed it. We're screwed.

Just felt a tiny earthquake. Made me kinda dizzy. Felt like I was on a boat.

Yeah normally they're quite scattered about so I wouldn't feel one for several months apart. Today's felt like a gentle rocking boat motion but I know some areas closer to Baja felt it as much stronger.

This year has been pretty unusual not only for us on the west coast but areas all over the world. I just hope nothing worse happens. Or when it does, disaster response would be quick.

On the other hand, it's now the biggest piece of local news on tv besides the Jesse James scandal and they're going to yap about it nonstop without anything productive coming out of it in terms of preparations/insurance, etc.
