Heavy Rain

Post by darkly »

I know it's old and most of you have probably already played it a long time ago but I'm making a topic about it anyway.
What did you think about it?

I haven't finished it yet actually (I'm taking my time, don't want to end it to soon) but wow this game is something! I knew it was gonna have alot of story in it but I never really expected it to be so.. emotional.
It's really quite beautiful in some way and unlike most games. A rare treat. I love it! I haven't enjoyed a game this much for quite some time.

I'm about 45% done I was going to go back and play it again but got sidetracked by numerous other things, but it's awesome.

Got PSN ID?
What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons. You're born alone and you die alone and this world just drops a bunch of rules on top of you to make you forget those facts. But I never forget. I'm living like there's no tomorrow, because there isn't one.

Interesting review :)

Playing this game is like playing shenmue for the very first time and by that of course I mean that this is a game you'll find yourself wanting to go back to many years from now. Not that I think it'll be as much fun to play over and over like shenmue but rather the feeling you get is something you'll wanna try to get again. It's something new and different just like shenmue was.

I think it's time to play shenmue again :) december is after all the best time of the year to play shenmue 1

 Tack!

And you're true. It is. I had been wandering how due to old age, I don't see to get a kick out of games like I used to, but I have to say that HR, Red Seeds Profile / Deadly Premonition and The Path sure came in handy these years, as I'm sure I wouldn't enjoy or understand them as much as I do now.

Shenmue is fantastic but not all of us deem kung fu flicks as high art, hehe.
