Yakuza is amazing. The sequel is even better.

Just because.

It's not awful, but it's not nearly as good as some of you guys made it out to be. I have a list of reasons why I'm really disappointed with it, but this isn't the topic for it.

I really want Dead Space since it reminds me of Metroid meets RE4.
Not sure yet if I will get DSE since it's on rails but even for on rails it looks amazing...just the rails part keeps me at a distance.

Re: Last game you bought
Ive finally started Dead Space today. So far so good... It reminds me a lot of three games... Doom 3, Martian Gothic (a not so great adventure game) and that part in KOTOR where you're alone in this underwater facility with a big enviro-suit and a really creepy atmosphere...Ryudo wrote: I really want Dead Space since it reminds me of Metroid meets RE4.

I wouldn't say it's too much like Metroid because it's much more barren, ... technology infiltrated with the odd zombie mutant and not a living breathing spaceship controlled by a Mother Brain... at least, not until now... hehe...
Maybe you'd like Prey, now that one I felt was much more than a first person shooter (which i normally don't care for, unless it's something special) and it definitely felt as a very lively spaceship, where everything moved and everything was a threat. I'd much more easily recommend that for the Metroid influence than Dead Space (especially since you also learn new Spirit moves as the game progresses).

Just spme othe rfriends I have say it reminds them of RE4 meets Metroid series.
The Metroid is the sci fi setting and alone on spaceships and such but RE4 for the creatures.
Never even heard of Martian gothic and Doom 3...ugh.

Well, the games i mentioned were all about the setting feel of Dead Space.. gameplay is pretty much RE4 of course, but the in-game menus and HUD are very impressive too (have no idea if that's gonna be as crucial in Extraction)... it seems an interesting universe though, i wouldn't mind EA bet more on it in the coming years

Big day. Gadget and Ultima IV are the definite highlights.
