I have found plenty of games that re invent certain genres for the better with pointer controls and motion but far too often developers force it in a game and feels unnatrual. Kinect to me for gaming just doesn't work yet IMO however as new technology for form of UI for other uses it has great potential.
Most games yeah I just want the two handed gaming controller with my buttons and d pads and analog.

As a tech geek,I won't go into a huge ass rant and pump my fists why for the billionth time but 3d won't be the standard. Yes it's the hot topic now and pushed by film and electronic corps and gaming but just to many things stand in it's way.
It will pass.

Until we have holodecks like on star trek.

I dunno dude, i have never seen a 3D movie in my life, but i remember being sick when i was younger when i was supposed to go see one. It was back then in the 80s that they tried 3D and id died a horrible death. Now it feels like its being forced upon us once again, but the difference for me is that the kids of this generation are embracing it. Of course movies tapped into this, and then because parents and older teens started getting into 3D, they decided to show the World Cup in 3D. NOW there are advertisments for 3D tvs on non stop.......

Dont go into the technical aspects dude, but i just feel if the major gaming developers feel there is a demand for 3D, then they will do it. I would say its more of an if rather than when, but thats purely going on the technology market in general. :)

It's not just technical issues that stand in it's way,it's also political, health (many people can't even see it thanks to human anatomy and certain conditions and even the ones who can..you are only allowed to see it for a very limited time.) Viewing angles is another. unlike a normal 2 projected image which can be seen in many areas for many to see 3d can only be viewed in direct view.(why it makes more sense in a hand held)

Like I said yes it's being pushed in marketing but trust me it has in a very literal sense to much against is I won't go on about as it would takes hours to explain in a very wiki style series of explanations as to why it just can't work as a mainstream of content. It can in certain niche markets.

Anyway I am done with the 3d subject.

In other things 97 degrees and trying to figure out if I want waffles now or fire up the BBQ!

(#‵)3′)▂▂▂▃▄▅ ~~~ 嗡嗡嗡嗡嗡

Games cost too much. If I buy, it would tend to be on brand recognition, and whatever you think about that, I would say most people are the same way. So if someone has the financial muscle and know-how to adequately promote their product, it will catch on often regardless of quality. Honestly I have no idea what I just typed or if it's even really true, I just wanted an excuse to put the little man in:

What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons. You're born alone and you die alone and this world just drops a bunch of rules on top of you to make you forget those facts. But I never forget. I'm living like there's no tomorrow, because there isn't one.

Wow..... I have never seen so many dislikes compared to so few likes. Only 28 likes and 1,000 something dislikes. That should explain everything.

And that other video you posted..... .
