What is Shenmue? Dojo is just meant to talk about my awesome blue dong and OL's spiky n00b dildo.
Oh and throw boots at joka's head.

Hm, no actually. It feels as if this generation is a bit slower compared to the previous one. I get the impression that Sony really did mean it when they were talking about long support for the PS3. Even after a few years it doesn't seem as if they (and the others) want to rush into a new generation.

It's too expensive still to develop for these platforms and still high cost hardware, nintendo has figured a way to own this gen in sales on overclocked 10 year old tech.
So 360/PS3 plan to continue this gen a few more years esp proving that with revived consoles in slimmer versions and added hardware like Kinect/Move.
I am glad to since I got so sick of the old 5 year cycle. I think we finally hit a wall where the old method just won't work anymore.
This gen has not truly peaked quite yet but do think it shall soon. Even then think they will milk this gen a few more years before releasing new consoles.

I hate the 5 year cycle too. Cause I don't buy it when it first comes out so its like.. a 3 year cycle for me. This gen can go 10 years and I'd be okay with that.
